The House of the Bozduganovi Brothers on the corner of 62 Alexandrovska Street and Prof. Assen Zlatarov Street was built in 1923. The construction project belonged to architect Sava Bobchev and architect Chekhlarov.

Sava Bobchev is a prominent citizen of Ruse, one of the founders of the architectural-archeological science in Bulgaria. He is the designer of the buildings of Angel Kanchev Reading Club, the Ascension of the Holy Mother of God Church, and many others.

The building of the Bozduganovi Brothers is located on a corner, effectively emphasized by a tower. On the ground floor there were six shops and above them three detached flats for the three Bozduganov brothers were separated.

In 1919 the Bozduganov brothers arrived at Ruse, opened an inn and a tavern near the Hippodrome and started selling wholesale wine throughout Northern Bulgaria. In 1927 they founded the Bozduganov Brothers Cognac Factory but split up a few years later. Nikola, one of the brothers, entered into a partnership with Dimitar and Encho Rogozherovi and in 1941 the corporate capital of “Rum JSC” reached BGN 2 500 000. Bozduganovi had shares in “St. Trifon” soda-and-lemonade company and in “Grozd” wine-making cooperative in Ruse.

Successor of the famous family is the intellectual Nikola Bozduganov from Ruse (31st October 1924 - 2006), who lived at this house until the end of his life. Having graduated from the Law Faculty of Sofia University and Theatre Studies at Krustyo Sarafov University, he worked as an orchestra-violinist at the Ruse Symphony Orchestra for 27 years. As a literary, theatre and music critic, he collaborated with and contributed to capital and provincial magazines.
